Supporting learning and leading from San Francisco to Monterey.
I make short educational films for organizations in or near the Monterey Bay region.
I have a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, publications in journals like Teaching Philosophy, College Teaching, and Philosophy of Music Education Review, and decades of experience in a variety of teaching environments.
The main event in each of my films is a series of conversations. We collaborate in advance on putting together a short list of topics to discuss. These conversations become the core of a short documentary with a positive, motivating message.

David

The Salinas River
This is a documentary short made in collaboration with the non-profit organization Monterey Waterkeeper. The purpose of the documentary is to increase awareness of the Salinas River. Despite the significance of the Salinas River as the source of water for residents and for the Salinas Valley’s tremendous agricultural economy, the Salinas River itself is for many here a mystery, barely glimpsed under bridges as one drives by.
